LOCAL PASTURED TURKEYS

It's time to pre-order your Thanksgiving Turkey! Choose from one of our trusted partner producers below. Both of these farms meet our quality standards for raising birds on pasture in an ethical manner.

Spring Creek Meadows Farm is in Farmville, VA. Their turkeys are pastured, soy-free, corn-free, and non-GMO. Their birds will be frozen. Note, we cannot guarantee specific sizes, only guarantee the size ranges listed below. If you need a specific size, let us know and we will try to get as close to that as possible. Price: $7/lb

Kelly Bronze Turkeys is an outfit in Crozet, VA. They raise a very special "Kelly Bronze" heritage bird and dry-pluck birds for dry-hung aging, which integrates fat into the meat for very good flavor and super-quick cooking. Their birds are offered around Thanksgiving fresh, not frozen. Price: $14/lb

THANKSGIVING BUNDLES

These Bundles contain fresh Bellair produce plus local mushrooms, butter, ferments, and more from local growers/producers we love. Bundle cost: $150 paid in full when you place your order.

• 20-30 lb storage veggies (winter squash, potatoes, sweet potatoes)*

• 1 scant bushel fresh veggies like LOTS of greens, radish, turnips, much more*

• 1 fresh herb bundle

• 1 lb mixed mushrooms

• 1 Gathered Threads ferment

• 2 dozen eggs

• 1 lb butter

• 12 oz maple syrup

• Pancake Mix from Deep Roots Milling

*Availability of fresh farm products is always subject to change, but we will pack this bundle to $185+ retail value

Pick Up Dates

Both turkeys and food bundles can be picked up at our usual open locations the week before Thanksgiving. If you need an alternate pick up option, please email us and we may be able to accommodate you (i.e. picking up at the farm on Thurs, Sun or Monday, etc.)

• Saturday, Nov 23th at the Bellair Farm Barn Store, 9am-2pm

• Saturday, Nov 23th at IX Art Park market, 9am-1pm $10 delivery fee*

• Sunday, Nov 24th at South of the James, 10am-1pm $10 delivery fee*

*We have very limited cooler and truck space! We prefer that you pick up your turkey at the Barn Store. Delivery to the IX or SOTJ Markets requires a $10 delivery fee.
