Spend some quality time with your farm/farmers. We hope that after this event, you leave with knowledge and a feeling of community and relationship with the land. This event is FREE and open to the public!
We've got a choose-your-adventure menu of activities:
(No registration required - just show up and hang out!)
9-10:30 AM Wildflower Walk with farmer Michelle
9-10:30 AM Livestock Tour with farmer Nat
10 am - 12 pm Invasive Species Removal hands-on workshop (participants get a free dozen eggs or Bellair jarred good!)
11 am - 2 pm Community Oven use -- cook up eggplants, peppers, or even breads in our wood-fired oven. Michelle will have it hot and attend it if you need pointers.
10:45 am - 2 pm Ask-me-anything with farmer Michelle -- bring us any questions re: farming, gardening, cooking, food preservation, conservation, wildlife and more!
Mix and match activities according to your interests and available time. The tours will depart promptly at 9. Wear appropriate shoes for dirt/mud/rough ground & we recommend a water bottle. We are excited to spend some time together!
